Wealth – Lifestyle & Attitude

… a holistic approach to money.

Lets face it, we all need it, yes I am talking money.

That much time is spend, focused, wasted, gained and enjoyed on money that we all should just be given a bundle and live happily ever after.

Would that work, maybe, but that is the funny part about money, how much is enough. Why is it that there never seems to be enough money.

Maybe that is the problem, we don’t know how much is enough for us.

By the way, money is NOT the root of all evil.

Money is a neutral type of energy, and we should be in control of that energy, not the other way around.

I must have been counselling and coaching hundreds of clients about all kind of problems, but sooner or later money seemed to become one of the focal point.

The basic problem seems to be, that there is either not enough or never enough.

Have you noticed that most people earn money by doing what ever they are doing, but that spending seems to be always one step ahead of their earnings?

Have you also noticed that their lifestyle depends on what they are earning?

Now, that is really interesting, please think about of that, shouldn’t it been the other way around?

If the lifestyle depends on what you earn, you are not in control, you let your job and society dictate your lifestyle.

Have you ever thought of sitting down and plan your lifestyle like it is a goal?

After all, that’s what it is all about; what life do you want to live, what is it what you love to do. How would you like to spend your time on this planet.

Not everyone wants to be jet setting around the globe and go from one party to the next. Never get sucked in by the lifestyle of the rich and famous, it may not be that “rich” after all.

Go by what you want, and how you would like to live your life.

You may ask; “what has that to do with money? ”

Interestingly, more then you may ever have thought.

Your lifestyle is your key, plan your desired lifestyle, and once you have mapped out your desired lifestyle, “Establish a Budget” as how much your lifestyle will cost.

If it will cost a lot, you need to plan accordingly, set strategies into place to earn that money. It will be much easier now, as you are more motivated, lifestyle goals are very motivating. The individual goals you set, are just the steps to achieve your lifestyle.

Over 30% of my clients found out, that the lifestyle they desired was much cheaper than what they ever have could imagined. They actually could afford their lifestyle on their present earnings and had money left over.

Other clients, after a bit more coaching and clarifying discovered that they really didn’t know what they wanted and that the material goals they had were based on doing what everyone else seemed to be doing.

Other had certain lifestyles in mind, but with questioning they discovered it may not be such a lot of fun to play golf everyday for the rest of your life.

We can’t help it, we are influenced by the society we live in, the trick is to become aware of it, and start living your own life not someone else’s life.

A lifestyle is not just one activity, it is a combination of work you love to do, time you want to spend with friends and family, goals you want to achieve, not just because you want something material, but because you want something you love doing. The list is endless, don’t limit it to one activity, or would you like to eat your favorite meal everyday for the rest of your life?

What you will find, that a lot of what you love may cost you nothing or little or even better will earn you additional money.

The magic moment always occurs if by doing what you love doing the byproduct is money.

It’s all about the attitude.

Start mapping and budget your lifestyle now … you may surprise yourself.

And by the way, if you love a lifestyle which is based on living in a castle and becoming rich and famous, go for it. There is nothing wrong with being wealthy, to the contrary, just don’t get lost in it.

It’s all about who is in control, you or the money.

At least you know what you want, and you may be the next person who can afford to give money for a new hospital wing somewhere.
