Hi Narelle Stratford here.
I think of myself as the baggage handler no airline will hire :)
and that's because you are likely to lose that horrible looking old luggage in favour of travelling lightly and easily through life.
I started out with a terrifically keen interest in natural healing and I guess you could say I was a workshop-aholic! I think I probably drove everyone mad with my insatiable quest to learn about healing and how we can and what can help and what do we do, and how can it be fun as well, because surely I was meant to Live Life 2 The Max!
I certainly was probably a little bit over-the-top in my quest, and after working my way through kinesiology, Reiki, crystal healing, massage, Body Harmony, iridology, reflexology and heavens knows what else, I attended a three week course on Principles of Consciousness and this was the turning point for me.
The course was taught by Dr Rosita Rodriguez, a US psychologist who taught on the High Self, The Conscious Self and the Sub-Conscious, and for me it was like watching the jigsaw puzzle of life fall into place with a huge gold key in the centre. This amazing woman had all the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that I wanted for myself and for others.
So, I made up my mind to become a psychologist, and when that training was underway, I also studied NLP and found that Timeline Techniques were the most amazing techniques for working with your Sub-conscious also known as the Inner Child.
As you can imagine, that is some years ago and I have been a psychologist since 1997, and also a Master Practitioner of NLP, Timeline and Hypnosis since about 1999. Since then I have gained a Dimploma in Clinical Hypnosis and attended many other trainings along the way.
I still work with your Inner Child (and mine!) and use these wonderful techniques to help my clients.
I am into meditation (naturally with that background), health and fitness (although that's an ongoing thing) and I love the beach and dancing, and reading too.
Psychologists aren't allowed to post testimonials, but one thing I will tell you is that in an email from one of my clients whom I haven't seen for sometime, she told me that she missed our giggles and thanked me for my unwavering love and support.
Another of my male clients let me know that I had transformed his life. I have the most amazing 'job' in the world, to hear things like this, and I just love being able to help people with the tools and techniques I provide and also give to you, such as a series of motivational emails, free relaxation CD valued at $25 and lots of tip sheets. Oh, and homework is required from you! You'll love it though.
