FITNESS - stay fit - join a Class - join a Gym - find a Sports club - a Boot camp ... go bush walking, swimming, surfing, even ice skating, it's all here on the Gold Coast or Gold Coast Hinterland, anything to stay fit.
I even remember a place in the Gold Coast Hinterland, where you could do Grass Skiing, however that one has closed down many years ago.
Fitness and activity are molded in to each other. Without activity there is no fitness. To gain fitness you simply need to find an activity which suits you and most importantly which you enjoy.
You need to enjoy your fitness activity to stay with it, and let it become a lifelong habit.
Why is fitness that important?
We need a certain amount of fitness to do all the things we like to do, including work. Without fitness, everything will quickly become a burden, will make you tired and eventually will make you sick.
The most important Fact about Fitness you need to know and to understand is:
Fitness can not be stored ! - Please always lets remember that.
Because you can not store fitness, you need to have a regular fitness activity.
This activity needs to at least match your lifestyle. If you have an extremely sedentary lifestyle, you may not need a lot of fitness, and 30 min walking around the house may be enough for you, however that would be the minority of us.
Anyone who needs to go to work, has a certain amount of natural stress to cope with, maybe kids to care for, doing the shopping, climbing stairs, anything needs fitness, and if you don't have it, you be exhausted too quickly.
Is there such a thing than passive fitness training, something where you don't need to do much and still keep a certain amount of fitness?
Yes, to a certain degree, there is such a thing.

Fitness is one of the key points to a healthy life.
A regular exercise regime is the key to a sound mind and a healthy body.
Fitness has many forms, from general sports activity, like a game of Tennis, to a Pilate's or Yoga class, everything can contribute towards your level of fitness.
It is important to remember that one can not store fitness, which means it is an ongoing activity which should be enjoyable.
Therefore, overall good fitness is more important for general health than a super fitness for a few weeks...
