What is Osteopathy?

 

Osteopaths use their hands to investigate and treat a broad range of problems.

Such techniques include soft tissue stretching and massage, skeletal adjustments and joint manipulation, myofascial release and positional release techniques, and other gentle techniques such as cranial osteopathy.

 

Due to the wide variety of techniques, osteopathy may help in a wide variety of conditions in all age groups from new-borns and kids to the elderly..

Typical common conditions, include neck or back pain, and generally all other musculoskeletal problems which can be resolved with corrections.

Osteopathic Paediatric care and common problems of pregnancy are also addressed.

 

Osteopathy and osteopathic medicine focuses on the structure and function of the body and recognizes the body's ability to heal itself. The osteopathic practitioner will facilitate this process by gentle muscle and soft tissue manipulation.
