Peace is not utopia, peace is a reality
it just needs to be activated.

You can't fight for peace - that would be war.

 

You can't fight against war - that would be war.

 

Therefore, do not BE against war, instead,

BE FOR PEACE

 

In fact, do not be against anything,

always be FOR something.


Where ever you concentrate your energy on,
that part will grow.

 

Being against something, like war, just makes the conflict bigger.

 

Being for something, like peace, makes peace bigger.


If all the energy is concentrated on peace,
there will be no energy left for war.


War will have become obsolete.

 

Being a pacifist does not mean being passive.

 

Being an Activist, does not mean destructive action.

 

To activate peace, one needs to take action to create:

peacefulness - happiness - health - wealth - purpose
meaning - confidence - positive - tolerance

As long as we have problems such as;
poverty - homeless people - health and hospital problems - drugs - alcoholism - social unrest - crime - unemployment and many more..
as long there can be no peace.

Peace starts with you helping to improve life around you.

Create Peace in your country

 

Concentrate your action on doing something Peaceful

 

It takes more

Courage
to declare Peace
than it is
to declare War

 

If the World unites in Peace, there would be no war.

 

Have we evolved as human beings

Peace

You can activate peace by demonstrating peacefulness. Being a pacifist does not mean being passive, as not doing anything, is not causing anything. Same with hope, hoping for peace is very nice, but it doesn't do anything, hope is actually a passive feeling.


A lot of peace activists get ridiculed by political leaders, who claim, that peace or peace activists are not doing anything.

How can one be active for peace without fighting?
How can one cause peace?
Be active by ....

  1. By being peaceful.. uniting under the name of peace and asking for justice...
  2. By practicing peacefulness...
  3. By being or learning to be non-confrontational...
  4. By recognising that one ideology or one religion or one person > does NOT own the truth...
  5. By tolerating other so called "Truths", as long as no action violates human rights...
  6. By embracing difference...
  7. By discarding righteousness...
  8. By supporting the less fortunate...
  9. By knowing, that as long as we have poverty, drug dependence, crime, homelessness, sickness and all other social un-justices, we have no peace within our society, and we have to actively solve those problems first.
  10. By understanding, that peace needs a peaceful attitude, and that our political system reflects a confrontational attitude, and therefore needs to change.
    The world needs to be ready for a new political system, not based on ideology, but based on peace - harmony universal values and a willingness to support each other... and if possible a system which is not based on winning an election... the fear of loosing will distort true positive change...

Working on the principles of cause and effect, we have to cause something to achieve an effect.
The cause, and therefore the action is to be peaceful, the effect will be peace.
Peace is a shift in attitude, it is a mind set, and someone with courage has to start it.
There are enough countries already who could unite for peace, they have done it for war, there can do it for peace.
Once united they can stand for peace and for justice.

If peace activists get accused of being naive or simply being told peace does not work, and without being righteous, we can ask; "does War work"?

 

Apparently not, unless lots of dead people are the prove of something working.

 

Has peace ever been tried?
Maybe peace is too boring?
We have models for all kind of societies, and those models seem to include or even thrive on confrontation.
Do we actually have a model for peace.


I know some people who would compare peace with sitting on cloud 9 all day long, playing the harp. That does not sound very exciting, and obviously has nothing to do with peace.

 

The picture or model for real peace, would be a society which lives in harmony, mutually supporting each other for the good of all.

 

Would people choose peace if they could, or are we all hooked on confrontation, action, stress and adrenalin.

 

We seem to have no experience being peaceful or living in peace, we will have to learn it, prove to our self that we can do it, and create a peaceful blueprint for people to use as a lifestyle model.

 

All this means, there is certainly enough to do....

peace activation is working on changes which create peace.

A Prayer |

When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We confess that we have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and call it Pluralism.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics.

We have coveted our neighbours possessions and called it ambition.

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honoured values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh, God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Guide and bless these men and women who have been sent to direct us to the centre of Your will and to openly ask these things in the name of Your Son, the living Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Amen!"

The response was immediate. A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls responding negatively.

The church is now receiving international requests for copies of this prayer from India, Africa and Korea. Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on his radio program, "The Rest of the Story," and received a larger response to this program than any other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and wholeheartedly become our desire so that we again can be called "one nation under God." If possible, please pass this prayer on to your friends. "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for everything."
