What Bowen Therapy treatments are all about...

 

It is a hands on therapy.

Through a series of gentle rolling movements of the practitioner’s thumbs and fingers connecting with the client’s soft tissue, muscles, ligaments and organs, ‘messages’ are transmitted throughout the body influencing it to commence its own healing sequences and encouraging the body to realign itself.

 

This is to assist the body’s natural ability to realign, repair and co-ordinate its own healing, bringing it back to balance and harmony. 

 

There are no harsh movements, manipulations or adjustments, and the person undergoing the treatment is encouraged to venture into a state of relaxation, tranquillity and peace.
