What is “Original Reiki”?
Reiki is the most famous Japanese healing. “Original Reiki” is not-exported Reiki. In the first of 20th century, Dr. Usui originated the system of healing he taught and practiced based on his mystical experience on Mt. Kurama and by making use of his studies in many different areas of knowledge. Shinto (Japanese Original Religion) affected Reiki.
Reiki is a 'hands on/off' healing that works via the flow of energy currents throughout the body. These circuits have been known and used by the Japanese for centuries and are well documented as Meridians. An unhindered flow of these 'Qi (Ki/Chi)' energy lines induces a calming state of relaxation and promotes confidence and health as it stimulates the bodies own spontaneous internal processes.
Reiki energy is different from Chinese Qigong energy. Reiki practitioners have to been trained to send pure energy from universe without containing their own energy.
Nowadays, many people have learned Reiki and know it all over the world. However, most of them do not know the Reiki that they know is different from Original Reiki. We call the general Reiki as “Western Reiki” in Japan.
In the Original Reiki, for example, the ways of using symbols are different, and some symbols in Western Reiki are not in Original Reiki. The training of Original Reiki is harder than Western Reiki. Ms. Hawayo Takata was born in Hawaii and her parents were from Japan. When she visited Japan, she learned Reiki and started to give treatment and teach Reiki in Hawaii. She did not have a license of teaching Reiki, but her Reiki has spread to the world, this is Western Reiki’s history.
However, the association of Original Reiki respects her accomplishment for Reiki. Western Reiki is easier to learn than Original Reiki, and it is good for general people to learn.
What is “Japanese Spell”?
Japanese Spell is constituted mainly by fortune calendar, hands and/or body postures, mantra and sigils. The sigils are drawn by calligraphy. They are produced by ancient Japanese monks of Shinto (Japanese Original Religion) and affected by Chinese spells.
