"Namaste” (The divine in me meets the divine in you)
I am Australian and have lived mostly in Sydney and on the Gold Coast.
I have a background in Social Welfare Work, Counseling and Art Therapy.
A few years ago I felt the need to move on from my Counseling career and focus on my creativity by pursuing my love of photography. I have since sold and exhibited my work and have had my images published in magazines in Australia and China.
I had first discovered travel photography during several trips to India and have always had a passion for travel. I decided to combine travel, photography and teaching. I undertook a Tesol course to enable me to teach English as a second language. Teaching English has been a challenging and interesting experience that has supported me to travel, live and work in other countries and immerse myself in different cultures.
My recent return to India has been creatively and spiritually rewarding and is a place I plan to visit often. In India I reconnect with yoga and meditation practices that support me on my journey.
As a Photographer I feel re-inspired as India is a visual feast with endless photographic opportunities. I feel fortunate to be leading a more adventurous life these days. There are many places around the globe I plan to visit and hope to continue having ‘extraordinary’ experiences. I look forward to sharing my journey!
