What is Building-Biologists?

Building Biology

A Building Biologist works and attempts to source and reduce the potential health hazards that affect our every day life from the buildings we live and work in.

The most effective way that can be achieved, is at the planning stage, the design and construction of a house or commercial building.

But when the building has already been constructed, a Building Biologiest can measure and detact harmful material, eloctro magnetic fields - chemicals and many other built in problems and fix them accordingly.

Any building constructed during the last 50 or more years has the potential to be considered a 'sick building'.
( I will not not even mention Asbestos)

These buildings have all commonly used materials and products during construction and finishing that have been found to have a negative impact mainly on the Indoor Air Quality, but also on the Electromagnetic environment.

Health problems can come from exposure to moisture intrusion and mould, leaking gas appliances, dirty water storage, dirty air systems, inadequate ventilation, high level electromagnetic fields, as well as building products and furnishings that emit toxic chemicals.
