Next, let's have a look at the 2 physiological states of our body:

Anabolic is the state we would like to be in at all times, it is the "building up state".
Theoretically, if we could stay in an anabolic state, we probably would not age.
Practically, this is the state, which will stop accelerated ageing and therefore chronic disease.
It is achieved by eating your nutrients in a specific ratio, and partaking in an exercise program.
Interestingly enough, the ability to improve or build muscle strength does not decline with age.
If you build new muscle, you actually build new lean body cells, and therefore you are in an Anabolic state, - remember; "use it or loose it".
Catabolic, unfortunately is the state we are in most of the times, if we don't know otherwise...
Catabolic, simply means break down. If you break down too quickly, your ageing is accelerated. This is the difference between being 60 years old, feeling great and running marathons, or the flipside, being 60, crippled with chronic disease and watching television.
