Psychic Protection
One of the best tools to have on this trip of your lifetime, is a healthy amount of intuition and psychic ability. Forewarned is forearmed, after all.
It has only been about 800 years since mankind stopped using the sixth sense as just another way to live life. Gradually, we have become more and more unconscious, to the point that many people today actually believe that they only have five senses, and a few peculiar people hold the key to the sixth.
As I've said before, everyone - not just those psychics and spiritual gurus at $4.95 a minute - has a sixth sense and anyone can develop it - it's like riding a bicycle. While you only live through five senses, you may as well know that it's similar to you owning a Ferrari, but choosing to drive a Volkswagen beetle!
Know that the use of your sixth sense is a very ancient memory imprinted into your genes, from many ancestors across the world.
Get to know more about energy, and practice your visualization skills. Surround your car, your home, your loved ones with colors and become familiar with creating a force field around you that prevents anything except love and light entering.
There are other psychic protective rituals that can cleanse an object given to you by friends or passed down from family. One way is to bury it in the earth for four days and dig it up on the fifth day. Then hold it and put in your own energies. Another way is place it outside in the sunshine for four continuous days.
These two rituals are effective for cleansing and removing old energy - particularly when you receive the property of someone who has died - especially of unnatural causes, such as suicide.
If you are feeling drained, down or depressed, here is a lovely, simple restorative meditation that has always worked wonders for me.
I imagine all my negative fears and thoughts that are surrounding me. Then I step away from them, placing them all into a bag that I toss either outside or into the corner of the room. Now it's time to concentrate on me and who I really am, away from the crushing weight of insignificant, human insecurity and mind games. I breathe in deeply, and as I breathe out, I can allow myself to do one of a number of things, depending upon where I am - scream loudly, shout or scream silently with open mouth and body straining. I reserve my really loud screaming or roaring for the car when I'm driving!
Then I take another breath and begin to imagine my body begin to be covered up with a beautiful, shiny golden foil. I also imagine I see a team of loving angels do this for me, wrapping me up as tenderly as a mother would do to her infant, the golden energy making me feel warm and secure.
I then imagine this foil begin to puff up, with each breath of mine - until I am encased within this golden balloon of shining love. Gold is one of the ultimate protective colors in the spirit world. I finally fill the inside of my bubble with rainbow light that, as I breathe it in, feels soothing and powerful. Mmmm! I have to tell you, this works extremely well after an argument or before a job interview. Use it and let me know what you think.
The two main rules I would suggest following around psychic protection are these. Follow your intuition, as I've said before, and notice the signals that come to you through dreams and thoughts or feelings, that may alert you to a need for greater protection.
For instance, I take my dreams very seriously, and indeed, only recall the ones I need to take heed from or act upon. Notice the emotions you have upon awakening, and try not to move any part of your body. Edgar Cayce believed that if we could lie completely still, we would recall most of our dream, as we are would not be fully back in our bodies at that point. Grab some keywords and images to bring back with you into your waking life and jot these down into a handy notebook just by your bedside. Then, sit in an intuitive or quiet space, and begin to interpret your dream. No dream book can interpret your own dreams, they can only guide you. At the end of the day, you need to follow your own wisdom.
