Relationships: Become Proactive with caring for Mind, Body and Spirit
As this is my first article on relationship tips I’d like to start with something most of us know already.
We already know that it’s important to have an excellent relationship with our Self first and foremost in order to have great relationships with others.
Unfortunately this importance may lie buried beneath the many other things that seem to take priority in our lives.
See? This is nothing new or outstanding; however revisiting the importance of this every now and again can enable us to become more proactive in living the life we want to live.
Examples of being proactive in caring for our mind, body and spirit includes things such as taking the time to meditate on a regular basis. This helps with clearing the mind, centring the self, and getting into a peaceful frame of mind.
Taking walks through parks, gardens and by the sea is an excellent way to get fresh air into the lungs and brain. It’s also fabulous exercise and can be quite a meditative experience – brilliant for smelling the roses.
We can also begin to increase our awareness of what food, drink and other substances we consume, and then work towards nourishing our systems by putting only what is healthy and good into our bodies. If you’re unsure as to what nourishes our systems, ask a practitioner, start researching books, and docos, there are many avenues available which provide great information.
As well as rethinking our nutrition, diet and exercise, it might also be a good time for some inner reflection on our thought processes. If you notice negative self-talk then start reframing what you hear into a positive statement. If you hear things such as “I’m not worthy” reframe to “I am worthy” if after repeated attempts this doesn’t work for you then find someone who can help clear issues such as these and who will also help you empower yours.
If something is calling for your attention, become proactive and do something about it and get happy, healthy and harmonious!
