Flu Vaccine Do I or Don’t I
If you are like most people in Australia, you may be considering having a flu vaccination. There is so much controversy over the flu vaccination or any vaccination for that matter, which makes determining whether to have a vaccine or not very confusing. I would like to open up your thinking for a minute and have you think about the flu from a different perspective.
Consider this for a moment, perhaps the flu is a normal part of life. You see everyday our body takes in toxins and pollution from the air, water and food we eat. Those toxins need to be removed from the body. How are they removed? Some will be removed through perspiration, bowel movements and urine.
But these toxins can also be removed via coughing and an example of this is being in a smoky room. The body responds by coughing to help expel the smoke out of the lungs. Another way that the body removes toxins is via a runny nose.
So I like to think of the flu as a seasonal clean out of the body. Just like a tree sheds its leaves in winter, the body sheds some of its toxins as well.
So although these seasonal cleanouts may not be pleasant for some, there are many things you can do to minimize the effects. I personally don’t believe a jab in the arm with another toxin is going to do the trick, but that choice is up to you and I would urge you to look at both sides of the arguments so you can make an informed decision.
Drink water, this natural no calorie beverage cleanses your body and improves immune system function to help eliminate toxins easier and quicker from the body.
Movement is very important. Exercise moves the muscles which in turn moves the lymph (lymph is the sludge built up in the veins that develops from the body fighting off toxins and germs). Veins don’t have any way to move the lymp exept with movement. So daily movement and exercise is important.
Think happy thoughts. Yes, happy thoughts help to improve the function of your nervous system which in turn controls your immune system and makes your immune system function better.
My final tip, and this one may be the biggest surprise to you, is to have your spine regularly checked by a chiropractor. Poor spinal movement can occur without pain and can lower your body’s immune system and other systems not to function at their best.
Follow the advice above and I am sure you will begin to notice vast improvements in your immune system.
