Is your body too acidic?
Do you have poor digestion, aches & pains, heartburn, headaches, frequent colds or fatigue?
Too much acid in your body may cause these and many other symptoms, as well as increase the risk of disease.
Eating and drinking poorly and being stressed can create acid-alkaline imbalance.
Benefits of acid-alkaline balance (called pH) are many:
including healthier body weight, improved energy, stamina and concentration, improved immune function, reduction of disease risk factors…and much, much more!
The only way to know your acid-alkaline balance is by testing; these tests are inexpensive and widely available, to test urine and/or saliva at home.
Here are some things you can do to become less acidic:
-
Drink 2-3 litres of filtered water a day (depending on your size, activity level and diet)
-
Eat lots of fresh vegetables, preferably raw (add olive oil & lemon dressing if you like).
Think: a large fresh salad at lunch and dinner.
-
Snack on raw nuts, seeds and fruit
-
Limit or avoid tea, coffee & soft drinks. Green & herbal tea is good.
-
Avoid all processed food, preservatives & sweeteners
-
Add green vegetable drinks to your diet e.g. various powdered varieties available or wheatgrass shots
