Clairvoyants, Psychics and Seers
What makes them so intuitive?

Everyone is intuitive, even those who don’t believe in such things or those who pride themselves on being totally objective and sceptical. Yet Hunches, guesses and first impressions are a rudimentary forms of intuition, which most people will admit to having experienced at some time or other in their life.
What is it though, that allows some to be so much more intuitive than the average individual, that they can predict future events days, years or centuries ahead of time?
How is it that some individuals can describe your feelings, thoughts or what you are wearing at a distance just by hearing your voice on the phone, though you have never met ?
Why do some of these individuals call themselves clairvoyant while others are referred to as clairsentient ? And what is a seer ?
Also how do we know they really are as skilled or talented, as much as they say they are?
If we get to know such individuals and understand their personal history some of the answers become apparent.
Is a Psychic or a Clairvoyant simply born gifted?
As a professional Intuitive and healer of twenty years experience and as an individual who’s earliest memories contain numerous paranormal and extra-sensory observations and data. I can vouch for the fact that a lot of my colleagues have similar memories of seeing ghosts, aura colours around people as well as having numerous “déjà-vue” experiences in their childhood years.
Many talanted Intuitives also describe what a shock it was to them to discover that not everyone around them, could see, hear or know some of what they did. For those who had family elders with similar traits they may have been told to keep their abilities quiet only revealing themselves to those in need and/or more open minded. So it would seem that many Inuitives have heightened senses or abilities, perhaps right from birth. The fact that they are often not the only ones with such abilities in their family suggests that these abilities are inherited and probably passed down from generation to generation.
Yet having taught numerous individuals over the years to develop their intuition through appropriate exercises, meditation, aura and soul activations as well as lifestyle changes I have also observed average intuition develop into heightened intuition which in turn lead to clairvoyance, clairaudience and clairsentient skill. Similarly, I have had clients ask for guidance in the form of a reading after a traumatic event has resulted in an almost “overnight” and overwhelming increase in their ability to receive “extra-sensory” information.
Most intuitive practitioners no matter which label they use to describe their talent ( Psychic, Clairvoyant, etc...) agree that practice, meditation, healthy lifestyle and the desire to be of service to others develops and enhances their skills and their capabilities over time.
One thing I have clairvoyantly observed about highly intuitive individuals is a more active right brain activity than the average individual. This is the creative/ receptive part of their brain as opposed to the left/logical side of the brain. Usually the clearer and more accurate is an intuitive the lighter and more vibrant is their overall aura. Some believe that only a lot of blue or purple in the aura means someone is intuitive. In my experience this may only be so whilst they are reading for someone but when at rest the aura shimmers and is extremely light in the highly intuitive. This is usually so because these individuals do a lot of personal development, and follow the prompts of their soul creating a more refined, less dense aura.
What is the difference between a Psychic and a Clairvoyant.
The word psychic is defined in the dictionary, as someone possessing extra-ordinary mental abilities such as extra-sensory perception or telepathy. I personally find this definition inadequate because it does not take into account the strong and open heart an intuitive needs to have, to both receive and deliver intuitive data to their client.
A clairvoyant is usually defined as someone who has extra-sensory visual capabilities. So it is their ability to see paranormal information that they are particularly good at. They may get prophetic visions or symbolic visions during a reading to help explain a concept or give guidance to their client.
I have always liked the term Clairvoyant, because I have always felt that it could also be used to describe the ability of a “Sensitive” or an “Intuitive” to see life itself more clearly. Even if the intuitive data has landed into their awareness, not through visions but through another sense, such as a voice in their head or whilst in trance.
Even those who get intuitive messages as a voice in their head are usually referred to as Clairaudient.
A Clairsentient is one who gets an intuitive knowing, somewhat like receiving a thought or concept which has popped into your mind out of nowhere. Though unlike inspiration, which is another type of intuition, this may feel like you always knew this fact.
An Empath feels what you feel. I will often pick up on peoples aches and pains hours before I meet them and think they are my own. If I do not set up energy filters around my aura. Though I don’t drink alcohol I can feel drunk around drinkers if I do not set up energy filters between their aura and mine.
A channel is someone who usually feels they are simply a relay station between the person they are reading for and a higher being such as an angel, ascended master or archangel.
A medium usually is a channel that acts as intermediary between the client and the deceased.
A Seer is usually one who either sees Elementals (nature spirits) such as fairies, or sees futures due to their training in the ancient Fairy Traditions, which enables them to move between realities with ease. Some use the term to describe those of us who have the gift of prophecy and who see those events which affect the masses.
A lot of Professional Intuitive have a number of these capabilities within their repertoire. For example they may be Clairvoyant and Clairsentient or Clairaudient at the same time. Some switch around these and use the most appropriate channel at the time, which will best deliver the message to the client. There are times I, find that my clairaudience and channelled information from the Angelic realms is required. Whilst at other times Clairvoyant and Clairsentient data floods my awareness because it describes my client’s situation best. Most of us find its silly to list each capability when asked what we do or in our advertisements. It does seems smarter and more humble to just get on with the job instead.
How can you tell if your Clairvoyant is good.
Be wary of those who tell you they are always accurate. Be wary of those who tell you a future is unavoidable. No future is set in stone. A good and ethical intuitive reads the most likely set of upcoming events. They will prefer to offer guidance on how you can best achieve your dreams, hopes and goals instead of predicting accurate and useless paraphernalia.
Be aware that every time you hear about your possible future, you are empowered to alter it through thought or action if you wish it. If a reading leaves you feeling clearer, uplifted and relaxed you have been in the hands of an ethical and gifted intuitive practitioner.
