There is just one product that I would not go a day without!?! Facial oils have become very popular due to their huge beauty-benefits, and rightfully so. Whilst applying oil to your face may seam daunting for many, once you try it  you will not only see the benefits, but you will also love the relaxing facial massage at the end of a long day!

The truth is, your skin needs natural oils to maintain a healthy glowing complexion. With the constant application of make-up and daily cleansing that follows, your skin can become dry leading to flaky uneven patches. Even if you prefer to wear no make-up at all, your skin will appreciate being treated with a good quality facial oil on a daily or twice weekly basis to help restore, protect and deliver skin-nutrition.

Daily exposure to harsh drying elements such as the wind, pollution, air-conditioning and the sun, requires additional care to help restore and protect the skin. Over cleansing the skin can also result in skin that has been stripped of it's natural oils. Since oil provides a lipid barrier over the skin, a facial oil can help to speed up the skin's own healing process. Delivering natural oils and essential fatty acids where it is needed. Using facial massage techniques can also play a key role in achieving a perfect complexion.

This one product alone answers so many of your daily beauty needs, making it an essential product for natural beauties!

Day 1. My skin feels so good after applying the Gently Pamper Oil. There is no greasy residue and my skin feels soft and silky! The product absorbs quickly into the skin and I find that I can add an extra drop here and there as required to treat any dry areas.

I have to admit that I have run out of face cream and have been using the Gently Pamper Oil on it's own now for several weeks, both morning and at night. Applying a little extra to the under eye area at night, instead of an additional eye cream.. I am so happy with the product!!! I can use it in the morning before applying my foundation powder (without using a face cream!) and I am so surprised by this. Gently Pamper Oil does a great job at moisturising my combination skin type, with or without the need to use additional face creams.

Made from natural seed oils, Gently Pamper Oil penetrates the skin quickly and deeply without leaving a shiny finish. Seed oils are highly sought after and offer more than the regular synthetic facial oils that are commonly used. I know that the ingredients deliver antioxidants and long-lasting hydration & this gives me confidence all day!

Gently Pamper Oil - Ingredients

All of the ingredients used to formulate the Gently Pamper Oil have been chosen for their skin-nutrition benefits:

  • Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil - Safflower Seed Oil, is exceptionally rich in unsaturated fatty acids, it acts as a lubricant on the skins surface giving the skin a soft and smooth appearance. It is ideal to treat dry damaged skin.
  • Camellia Sinensis Seed Oil - extracted from the seeds of the tea plant, the real tea oil! It is a brilliant moisturiser, rich in antioxidants it protects the skin from free radical damage, promotes recovery of wounds and scrapes.
  • Vitus Vinifera Seed Oil - Grape Seed Oil is a powerful antioxidant, heralded for it's medicinal and nutritional value for thousands of years. Contains natural Vitamin E, flavonoids, linoleic acid, and OPCs are highly concentrated in grape seeds.
  • Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil - Apricot Kernel Oil is an emollient that acts as a skin-conditioning agent with a typical fatty acid profile Oleic (64.6%), linoleic (26.3), linolenic (0.2%).
  • Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil - Jojoba Seed Oil, nature's secret to youthful skin! Known for it's similarity to the skin's own natural sebum, Jojoba should not be over looked. As we get older, our skin produces less wax ester that helps to keep the skin hydrated. Jojoba Seed Oil replenishes the skin, providing a natural oil to help balance sebum control, locking in moisture.
  •  Tocopherol - Vitamin E is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in vegetable oils, nuts, fish and leafy greens that plays a significant role in human health. In cosmetics it is used as a skin-conditioning agent, a preservative and an antioxidant.
  • Ubiquinone - A potent antioxidant that is made naturally in the body. Ubiquinone or Coenzyme Q10 is effective in treating an array of medical conditions. Naturally decreasing with aging, ubiquinone is used in cosmetics to supplement skin-deficiencies and to boost potency.

Facial Oils Can Help To:

  • Hydrate and plump the skin for up to 24 hours
  • Minimise the appearance of fine dry lines and wrinkles
  • Deliver essential anti-aging vitamins like A, C and E
  • Provide antioxidants for a clearer and brighter complexion
  • Reduce uneven skin-tone and hyper-pigmentation
  • Protect the skin against the signs of aging to help you look younger!

Facial oils can do wonders for your face, but just because it's for your face doesn't mean you can't apply it elsewhere! Natural oils are so versatile, when it comes to beauty care there are very few products that offer several uses all-in-one product... Just one of the reasons a good quality Facial Oil is my must-have daily product.

Multi-Tasking Facial Oils:

  • Moisturise The Face, Neck & Décolletage - in many ways facial oils are far more moisturising than a standard cream.
  • Hair treatment - works wonders on dry hair, as a leave-in or wash out conditioning treatment or target split ends and apply sparingly after blow-drying.
  • Treat A Dry Flaky Scalp - massage the oil into the scalp 10 minutes before washing.
  • Make-up Remover? This is my favorite! Natural oils lift and dissolve even the heaviest black eyeliner or waterproof mascara. Simply moisten the skin and apply the oil to a cotton pad, wipe and repeat as required.
  • Facial Moisturiser or Eye Cream - why use any other product when Facial Oils provide long-lasting hydration.
  • Facial Mask - add a few drops to your favorite mask or mix with avocado or banana for a restorative hydrating facial mask.
  • Treat Dry Hands, Cuticles & Heels - massage into the cuticles after cleansing & exfoliating to hydrate and help heal dry sensitive skin.
  • Moisturise Seriously Dry Skin - add a few drops in hand with your usual body lotion to boost the barrier required to help heal dry damaged skin.
  • Highlight - the brows, lips and décolletage with a natural oil to add luster and shine where it's welcome!

How To Apply Facial Oils

The best way to apply a facial oil is to massage the oil in circular motions, in an upward and outward pattern. Start by warming the oil in-hand, rub your hands together and apply to the largest and driest area of the face, the cheeks. Working in towards the nose, up and out around the eyes, gently massaging the brows and pushing any tension away as you release the fingertips out towards the ears. Continue in a sweeping massaging motion until the product is applied or until you feel completely relaxed and pampered!
