The SKY for SEPTEMBER 2012
The month opens with a Full Moon on September 1st at 8 degrees Pisces conjunct Chiron. Here we have the illuminated lunar power blending its energy with the cosmic healer.
To glean a full understanding of the full moon energy you need to view it in context with where it began 2 weeks prior in Leo. The lunar month commenced with planting seeds toward joy, personal expression and love of life. It now culminates in ethereal Pisces shedding full light onto your fruits of spiritual development.
Any expression of creativity, joy or personal generosity reaps what has flowered on the level of your spiritual purpose and universal connection. This is basically feedback from the past two weeks, and it all becomes very clear at full moon time. This moment could be very spiritually rewarding if you have given of yourself from the heart, or on the contrary it may be confusing and disappointing if you have withheld self expression or focused solely on your own egocentric needs.

The Lunar Nodal axis changes signs on September 2nd with the South Node moving back into Taurus and the North Node into Scorpio. We may notice a shift in our cellular memory as the vibe of the collective unconscious moves into the more ‘fixed’ energy of security and power. The area of your birth chart containing Taurus will now get a ‘déjà vu’ style overhaul over the next 18 months as many past habits concerning security, control and your old values will rise up to be resolved. The opposing side of the chart containing Scorpio will be beckoning you to transform, purge and regain your power.
The New Moon on September 16th at 23 degrees of Virgo is conjunct Mercury. The Lunar month begins practically and mentally. Plant seeds around honing your skills or maybe learn a new one. Any work on the level of communicating will be a big help this month so roll up those sleeves and get cracking. Make sure it is something that you enjoy or at least is beneficial otherwise it could be the month of the ‘overworked slave’ so be very aware of how you play this.
The Pluto/Uranus square tightens up yet again becoming exact for the second time on September 19th, this time its Mercury’s turn to join these two big guns in a T square on September 21st. Be conscious of how you communicate at this time as this energy has the propensity to become rather explosive. This is all about radical changes in the way we think and how we convey it, and we may need to free up a lot of stuff that may have been brewing for quite some time.
Pick your battles carefully and confront only what you believe is truly important otherwise sparks can fly over the most trivial of subjects. Read carefully over texts and emails before you push ‘send’, this could be ‘regret city’ if you burn any bridges.
The final week of the month has a square between Mars in Scorpio and Venus in Leo. This could be a real battle of control, power and pride especially for those born in final week of Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus. There is a strong need here for excitement, passion and depth and can be played out very well if directed with enthusiasm, fervour and the love of life in mind. On the other hand if you play life at the shallow end, without a strong sense of self you could end up at either end of manipulation, vindictiveness and power plays leaving you just as empty and when you started. This is a powerful combination and could ignite a certain level of passion within your natal houses that contain the final degrees of both Leo and Scorpio.
