Women and Muscles

Women and Muscles

There have been many confusing stories written about weight training and muscles. When it comes to exercise, women have been led to believe that it is far better to do aerobic classes than it is to lift weights. This is just not true .

Aerobic training doesn't use the same energy system as strength training because of the intensity . You will use more calories AFTER the session with strength training versus aerobic training.

To make things easier to understand, strength training builts muscle more efficiently than aerobic activities . Imagine yourself as a car when it comes to using fuel : if we compare the muscle to the engine the more muscle or the bigger the engine and the more calories you use even while resting !

The same principle applies when you are using your muscles: the faster you drive the car, the more petrol you burn from the tank and eventually from the other reserves ! That's just how you efficiently elevate you metabolism, rev up your engine by training your muscles with more intensity and by getting them stronger.

Strength training versus cardiovascular training also enhances bone mineral density and can reverse the effect of osteoporosis, is more effective for fat loss , increases lean body mass ( yes, that's the way you tone up ) and improves posture .

Muscle weights more than fat and is 22% SMALLER in size , making your scale inappropriate to monitor your progress !!

Keep in mind also that women do not have the levels of testosterone and human growth hormone required to increase lean muscle mass dramatically : it is only because fitness magazines promote people that abuse drugs and lift weights that the average layman has been led to believe that their bulk is the result of lifting weights alone. Therefore heavy weight makes you stronger, but not necessary bigger.

Muscle cannot turn into fat and if you stop training you just naturally lose muscle size. But you can possibly put on fat by maintaining the same calorie intake as when you were training .

Finally spot reduction is impossible, we have no choice where we burn fat, it comes off all over in an individual way .

I can help you too to feel GREAT and look more SEXY.
