Prayer is a sacred time of going within
and truly connecting to that spiritual aspect of ourselves; the place where we can connect to our God, or to that divine universal energy of Love.

We can offer prayer to our God, Angels, the Ascended Masters, Elementals, our Higher Self or to our Spirit Guides.

When praying, treat it as a sacred time, a time of exploration, of Connection of releasing and healing.

Light a candle, burn some incense, layout a few flowers, offer yourself to the inner most sanctum of your being through which you can enter that state of bliss and harmony.

Where time stands still and you are truly in the presence of the Divine.

Prayer is a most beautiful form of meditation, so take your time and enjoy. Especially when you are in need of Divine help or when you are going through a Transformation and need help in letting go, replacing fear with love and light.

The following are some words that may help to get you started. You can use all the words or just some of the words.

Whatever feels right within your heart.

When you gain more confidence and have learnt to speak from your heart more, allow your own words to surface as this will reflect what your real inner needs are.

Always spend some time after prayer to assimilate and process any thoughts or feelings that may come up. Jot them down, capture your feelings and thoughts.

This is then a very subtle message to your sub-conscious that you are recognising what is inside you and that you are ready to let go.

Father, Mother, God, I come to you in Love and open my heart to your
Divine Healing Power and ask that you enter into my heart and bring your truth,
your light and joy deep within my soul.

That I may feel your energy and love surrounding me,
providing me with support, courage and strength.

Show me ways that I may live in greater truth. That I may come to understand
all that I no longer need within my life so that I may move forward
and fulfil my life's purpose.

Direct me along the pathway of light that I may come to know joy, happiness
and contentment, where I can show others my joy and share my love
amongst my brothers and sisters.

Guide me on my earthly journey. Bring me into that sublime state of being,
where I only know love. Teach me how to live in Unconditional Love, where I will hold
no judgment over Another and I will be free from all that constraints that holds me back.

Show me how I can live in Love and Freedom.
