FENG SHUI FOR THE GARDEN

FENG SHUI FOR THE GARDEN

Remember like your house, your garden is a reflection of you.

In regards to the block of land from a Form school perspective when looking directly at the house from the front what you see can symbolise what you may experience in this house.

  1. The Black Tortoise is located at the back of your home
  2. Green Dragon is to the right of the house
  3. White tiger to the left
  4. Red Bird in front

Therefore if you cannot see anything behind your house, such as tall trees, building etc it suggests you may feel unsupported especially from superiors at work.

To the right of the house should be smaller than the Black Tortoise but larger than the white tiger. The green dragon provides the occupants with the motivation and drive to go out and make something of their lives.

You then have the white tiger on the left hand side which should be smaller than the green dragon. It provides the occupants with the ability to relax and rest.

The red bird is located at the front of the house and symbolically represents opportunities that come into ones life. You should be able to see beyond the red bird when looking out of the house. It may be represented by a fence, hedge or lawn.

Some tips for your garden....

  • Remove all rubbish, clutter and bad smells from each room in the house and garden as this leads to blockages.
  • Have good lighting at your front entrance.
  • Stay away from chemicals for your lawn and garden.
  • Do not block your windows with trees and shrubs.
  • Keep the garden well maintained.
  • Have a curved pathway to your front door. If it is not possible, use plants and flowers to give the illusion that the path curves.
  • Plants that bare fruit represent growth and abundance.
  • Remove plants that are rotting, dying or dead as they bring yin Qi into the house.

  • **WARNING** Be extremely careful when placing water features. Moving water will activate the energies where the water is located; this is great if the energies are positive although if they are negative it will have the opposite effect.
