Diana Thurbon
Adapted from Whispers from the Soul by L Pendleton
I forgive myself
For all the things,
I should have done
And did not.
I forgive myself
For all the things I should
Not have done
But did.
I forgive myself
For mean thoughts
And mean ideas-
And I declare that
Such thoughts
And such ideas
Have no validity
In My Universe.
I forgive myself for being fearful
For anxieties, for jealousies,
And for all unhealthy pursuits
Of my mind.
And I here declare that the chase
is ended.
I forgive myself,
For all my limitations, vanities,
Indulgences, hatreds
and other desecrations
And I hereby declare
That the profanities of my life
Have no substance
In Our Universe.
Now that I have forgiven myself
I forgive my Universe
For all imagined trespasses
Upon my Spirit
For all imagined thefts
From my dreams
And I am ready for all the change
That transforms me
Into perfect understanding
Of the total expression
Of the Perfect Universe
